libkf5bookmarks-dev software package provides Qt library with support for bookmarks and the XBEL format., you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkf5bookmarks-dev
libkf5bookmarks-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkf5bookmarks-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkf5bookmarks-dev *
You will get with libkf5bookmarks-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
